Changing Lives with Beautiful Smiles
Welcome to Monroe Orthodontics! My team and I work hard to provide the most comfortable and relaxing orthodontic experience for our patients. We want you to feel at ease during your visits, knowing you’ll receive leading-edge, efficient treatments with personal and gentle care. We’re here to help you throughout your smile transformation, always glad to answer questions, provide encouragement, and share laughs.
I love helping people develop beautiful, healthy smiles that improve their self-esteem and confidence. While seeing a person’s finished smile is wonderful, getting to know that person throughout treatment, and becoming their friend, makes the happy smile mean so much more to me.
At age 12 I knew I wanted to be an orthodontist: I had braces and the change they made in how I felt about myself was indescribable. I knew I needed to share that experience with others. After many rewarding years in practice, I’m grateful for having met and helped so many wonderful people. When a patient goes from being embarrassed by their crooked teeth to smiling and laughing with pride, I know I’ve done my job well. I’m blessed to have such a fulfilling job!
Education and Continuing Education
All of my higher education has focused on oral healthcare. I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University for my Associate’s degree, my Registered Dental Hygienist degree, and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). I then attended New York University, where I completed my Orthodontic Training.
Keeping up with the latest advances in orthodontics is important to me. My highest priority is being able to offer my patients the very best treatment. In order to do that, I must stay current with the most comfortable and efficient methods. My continuing orthodontic education includes attending local and national conferences in order to learn from the leading experts.
I grew up in Bergen County, NJ. Monroe Township is now my home and I’m proud to be raising the light of my life, my daughter Izabella, here. Our family also includes our sweet dog, Lola. When I’m not caring for patients, studying the latest developments in orthodontics, or enjoying time with Izabella, I stay busy. I enjoy shopping, the theater, dancing, and listening to all kinds of music. I love watching sports, especially football and baseball, and am a huge Yankees fan!
Part of Our Community
I am glad to participate in Career Day at Applegarth School and speak at Oak Tree and Mill Lake schools during Dental Health Month. It’s fun to teach children about oral hygiene and inspire them to take care of their smiles! I also volunteer for various activities with Nativity of the Lord Church, along with the JRDF Walk-a-Thon and Make-a-Wish Foundation. I love it!
I consider myself fortunate in that every moment of my life is spent with people I care about.
